Raja is a Managing Director at Aperon Realty Solutions and is responsible for the strategy & overall operations of the firm in India. He brings over fifteen years of experience of advising Fortune 500 firms and large Indian corporates on their real estate strategy in India. In addition, Raja is a specialist with Financial Services firms and pioneered Agency Leasing business in India. He has worked in all major markets in West and South India and has been involved in some of the largest transactions with financial services firms in Mumbai.

Rajs’s last assignment was with Jones Lang LaSalle as a National Director – Corporate Solutions. In this capacity, he lead some of the very significant front and back office transactions for corporates like Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Morgan Stanley, Cisco, Deloitte, General Electric, Standard & Poor and Ness Technologies.
Prior to Jones Lang LaSalle, Raja had successful stints with Ascendas, Colliers International and Insignia Brooke. In Ascendas, Raja was the Marketing Head for some of the award winning IT parks in South India. In this role, Raja lead a team that leased over half a million square feet of IT park space in a record 15 months at 20% higher than markets rentals. In Colliers, Raja was the one of the top performers in the transactions business in West India. Similarly, he significantly enhanced revenues and profits of Insignia Brooke during his tenure as Manager with the firm.
Raja is one of the few professionals in Indian Real Estate who has experience working with International Property Consulting firms as well as a leading Multinational Developer. This experience helps him understand decision making from a tenant/occupier as well as a developer/landlord perspective.
Prior to joining the Real Estate Industry, Raja worked with Armstrong World Industries who are global leaders in floors, ceilings and cabinets. In addition to consistently being a top revenue earner, he was also a part of the team that launched mineral fibre ceilings in India.
Education & Affiliations
Raja has completed his Masters in Business Administration from Institute of Technology & Management and Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University.
Raja is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and heads the India team for Areamericas and Office Finder.
