John Galaxidas: A Real Estate Expert with a Vision
John Galaxidas is the President and CEO of Synergy Real Estate Group, Corporate Advisory, Inc., a leading real estate advisory firm that helps clients of all sizes and sectors with their real estate needs.
With over 30 years of experience in the industry, John has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in corporate and tenant/buyer representation, leasing, subleasing, renewals, acquisitions, dispositions, and construction projects. He has successfully managed national and international transactions totaling more than $30.2 million square feet of space and assets over $1 billion value.
John founded Synergy in 2004 with a vision to provide customized and comprehensive corporate real estate solutions to his clients.
Under his leadership, Synergy has grown to have several office locations throughout the nation and a team of dedicated and experienced professionals.
John oversees the strategic direction, operations, and financial performance of the company and ensures that every client receives the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Notable clients include: NASA, Tesla Motors, Hitachi, Paramount Studios, CBS Studios, Samsung, LG, Lucky Brand Jeans, D-Wave, DHL, Farmers Insurance, Hewlett Packard, Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Sony Pictures, Agilent Technologies, DELL, ExxonMobil, Airborne Express, Charles Schwab, Orrick Herrington Law Firm, TATA, Larsen & Toubro, Prexion, TCP, Intracom Telecom, Wabash Technologies, China Railway International U.S.A., Allison Transmissions, and many other Global 1000, Fortune 500, large and medium market companies and small businesses.
Before starting Synergy, John served in high level leadership positions at various prestigious real estate firms, such as Oxford Development, CB Richard Ellis, Cushman & Wakefield, and Ernst & Young LLP.
He was also an appointee of the Governor of California in Real Estate.
At Oxford Development, he worked on several corporate real estate accounts representing PPG, Kraft Heinz, UPMC, US Steel, and Alcoa.
At CBRE, he worked in the Corporate Services helping set up tenant rep practices in Salt Lake City, Albuquerque and Bakersfield.
At Cushman, he helped DHL move its headquarters from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale and advised on property disposal and retention during DHL’s acquisition of Airborne Express.
At Ernst & Young, he worked as a consultant at Hewlett Packard’s headquarters, assisting HP during its separation and IPO of Agilent Technologies.
As an Appointee of the CA Governor in Real Estate, John was responsible for overseeing two public/private commercial development ventures between the State of California and Cisco Systems and Sun Microsystems.
He also led the development projects of the CAL-EPA building and the Teale Data Center.
John was born and raised in Sacramento and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of the Pacific. He has taken postgraduate courses in real estate and finance at the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University.
John is a California licensed real estate broker.
John lives in San Diego, CA with wife and child. In his spare time, he likes to travel, ski and bike.
