Hume Myers Tenant Counsel
Portland, OR
For the past thirty-seven years, Greg has been involved in sophisticated real estate development and brokerage activities throughout the United States, primarily focused in the Pacific Northwest. He has a broad background in master planning and design with extensive personal experience in lease, purchase and build-to-suit negotiations.
Greg started his real estate career by joining Coldwell Banker in Seattle in commercial sales and leasing in 1972. He joined the Koll Company in 1974 in Redmond, Washington and spent eight years as a Vice President, partner, at various times, in charge of development and marketing of Koll’s Northwest projects.
Greg moved to Lake Oswego in 1984 to join Birtcher Properties as Vice President, manager in charge of the development and marketing of three major Portland area projects.
In 1997 Greg served as President of the Commercial Office Brokers of Metropolitan Portland and is a past President of the Seattle Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP).
Greg’s primary focus is the representation of clients seeking to purchase, lease or build facilities. His valuable contribution to his clients is based on overall market knowledge, proficiency in comparing financial aspects of the transaction, and implementation of an effective negotiation strategy.
A comprehensive knowledge of the development process is helpful in structuring the negotiation posture required to obtain the most beneficial transaction for a client. Greg has assisted several companies in search of facilities and property that require a thorough and complete understanding of the technical, financial and demographic complexities of real estate.
