As a tenant representation specialist, Brian works with office, flex and industrial businesses to refine their real estate strategies and successfully execute on property lease and purchase transactions. Since joining Hume Myers Tenant Counsel in early 2008, Brian has exclusively focused on advising both local and national companies on their facility decisions in primarily the greater Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA region.
Client’s benefit from Brian’s market knowledge and technical expertise acquired through his background in commercial leasing and development. He partners with clients to define their real estate needs, identify target properties, negotiate for optimal lease terms and ultimately improve and occupy the space successfully.
Prior to joining Hume Myers Tenant Counsel, Brian was a leasing broker with Trammel Crow Company (now CB Richard Ellis) and in development with Trammel Crow Residential. While at Trammel Crow Company, Brian focused on both tenant representation and listing properties for owners, providing him with a unique insight into the landlord side of the business.
Brian also draws on his previous management consulting (Oliver Wyman) and commercial banking experience when walking tenants through key corporate facility decisions. He started his career in valuation consulting for a global accounting firm.
Brian is a licensed real estate Broker in both Oregon and Washington.
He holds and MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
