Brent Palmer has worked in commercial real estate his entire career. He has an MBA in international business, concentrating in real estate and finance. Brent specializes in representing corporate tenants in commercial office lease transactions and business development. He also has a background in commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, investing in real estate, and financing real estate.

Most recently, Brent was responsible for co-managing the Miami office of a National Commercial Tenant Representation Firm and tracking the South Florida commercial real estate market. Brent’s clients appreciate his unique ability to explain the financial aspects of any deal and all the variables that can come into play. He is creative in his approach yet cunning in creating and leveraging the situation for his clients benefit. Ensuring the tenant has flexibility to account for changes in their business is critical to the approach.

Brent has an extensive background in commercial real estate industry. Previously, Brent worked at LNR Partners in the Asset Management group. LNR is a diversified commercial real estate company located in Miami Beach, Florida. At LNR, Brent worked on underwriting and asset management of office, retail, hotel, and industrial loans on properties all across the United States. LNR is the largest special servicer of Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) loans in the country.

Prior to his experience at LNR, Brent worked in New York City as a mortgage broker, financing residential and commercial real estate, at Park Avenue Mortgage Company, and at Estreich & Company. Through these work experiences he had the opportunity to be involved in numerous high profile real estate transactions, including the financing of the Empire State Building, among others.

Brent graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Business. He also received an M.B.A. from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina with a focus on International Business, and a concentration in Spanish. While in business school Brent studied abroad in Spain, Mexico and South America where he took classes in Spanish and had an internship in Barcelona with a boutique hotel developer/management company. His experiences from abroad and in school have proven to be beneficial and provide him the expertise to understand the diverse intricacies of the Miami real estate market and office tenant representation in South Florida.
