A commercial tenant specialist since 1998, Mr. Lofft has managed nearly $200 million in transactions covering 20 states and Washington DC, with facility types ranging from central offices, microwave tower networks, and earth stations in telecommunications, surgery centers for retail medical providers, BL-3 R&D suites in biotech, SCIF installations for security firms, data centers, and a variety of industrial facilities. Mr. Lofft is a licensed broker in several locations in the mid-Atlantic and the intermountain west and manages a commercial property investment group with $4 million in assets including office, retail and industrial properties.

In environment and sustainability, Mr. Lofft lead a successful grassroots business effort to encourage the regional power company to diversify its power generation beyond coal which led to the cancellation of 6 separate plants (search “Buffett Lofft Coal”). Mr. Lofft also earned a 5kw solar energy grant for a regional non-profit’s new animal rescue facility (worth approximately $32,000).

In 1997, Mr. Lofft earned his MBA at Georgetown University focused on operations and finance. Previously, Mr. Lofft worked at the US Department of Commerce on U.S. trade relations with Russia. Mr. Lofft has earned EcoBroker and CoStar Power Broker designations.
